1/ Record Your Presenter Video
You can create this by delivering a live presentation to an audience of anywhere from one to hundreds of watchers. When you finish your live presentation, the recorded file will be automatically processed into a Talk-Deck by the Talk-Deck platform.
The Talk-Deck platform offers even more power and versatility: simply record a presenter delivering a presentation using a laptop or desktop computer. Edit the raw video file to integrate the presentation slides and produce a synchronization file. (A complete tutorial showing how to do this is else where on this website.) Then upload your edited final video and synch file to the Talk-Deck platform for processing into your Talk-Deck.
2. Create Your Talk-Deck
The Talk-Deck platform creates your Talk-Deck by automatically processing the recording of your live presentation file (or separately recorded and edited video file). Your Talk-Deck is ready for downloading within seconds as a Self-Contained Player (SCP) in zip file format. You can then easily host your Talk-Deck on your own website rather than uploading it to YouTube, where you run the risk of the viewers you’ve worked so hard to attract to your presentation, being distracted by videos from other companies vying for the same viewer attention and revenue dollars you’re after.
Download the raw presentation files and edit them to polish and professionalize your presentation using any one of the many available video editors out there. After the video is edited, re-upload the edited video file to the Talk-Deck platform. The revised SCP (Self-Contained Player) can be downloaded for integration into any website.
3/ Share Your Talk-Deck
Share your Talk-Deck! The downloaded Talk-Deck SCP can be easily integrated into any website by copying it directly into a defined directory. An ‘index.html’ file is automatically included to start the presentation. You can then share the link by email, post it to your social media channels, or upload the video file itself to YouTube (regardless of previous paragraph #2, it never hurts to cover your bases.

During a 3-5 day investor Roadshow, a CEO will often present the company story several times a day to professional investors such as fund managers investment advisors and portfolio managers. Watching a CEO deliver the same presentation in meeting after meeting, I often wondered…
‘Why couldn’t you just record this presentation once then put it on a website or send it out by email so that hundreds or even thousands of shareholders and potential investors could watch it?’ I’m sure I wasn’t the first person to think of the idea but I like to believe I was one of the first to decide to do something about it. The Talk-Deck Interactive Online Presentation Platform was born.
Our goal was to replicate the experience of watching a real investor roadshow presentation, just like public company CEO’s used to present before the pandemic. Then along came the pandemic and in-person roadshows were replaced by online webinars. But there are two problems with online webinars. The first is that, as you’ve probably experienced yourself, few people want to watch the live presentation at the scheduled time and date. Many prefer to wait till the webinar recording is posted. But problem number two, again as you’ve probably experienced yourself, is that webinar recordings are frustrating to watch, because if part of the presentation doesn’t interest you and you want to skip ahead, the only way to do that is to crudely scrub through using the video slider. This process is so frustrating that only the most dedicated viewers can watch a recorded webinar for more than a few minutes.
A Talk-Deck combines a slide deck with a presenter video. That in itself isn’t unique. What is unique is a third element: full precise interactivity controlled by a clearly labeled slide index that enables any viewer to easily select any part or parts of a presentation you want to watch in the order you want to watch it.
